"Republican Iftar" took place in the capital of Tatarstan

Yesterday, before the final tarawih of this Ramadan, the tenth (anniversary) "Republican Iftar" took place in the capital of Tatarstan, timed to coincide with the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the ancestors of the Tatar and kindred peoples. About 10 thousand (!) believers gathered at Kazan EXPO, including President Rustam Minnikhanov, Mufti Kamil Samigullin, heads of confessions and diplomatic missions of Tatarstan. The unity of people and power and the unity of nations and religions! Ramadan unites!

The final suhoor in the oldest surviving mosque in Kazan — the legendary Marjani Mosque with its rector Sheikh Mansur Jalyaletdin.
