About European Muslim Forum
Positive development of Islam in Europe and Europe with Islam!
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!
It is a great pleasure and honor to have you as a true friend of our project, closely following and supporting it since its very establishment, more then three month ago, on 8 October 2018.

On behalf of the leadership of the European Muslim Forum, we would like to inform you about the work that has been done in this initial period, as well as to outline the tasks that our organisation faces in the coming months.
During this time we have held three board meetings. On 23 October in the Central Mosque of Rome, Italy, we adopted a Declaration that defines the future vector of development of our organisation. In addition, an action plan for the near future and the conception of registering an organisation under jurisdictions of six European states were adopted. The second meeting was held on 29 November in Brussels, Belgium where the concept of interaction with the European Commission and the European Parliament was defined.

The initial list of the EMF Board was confirmed and some plans for future work were specified. An Executive Committee has also been established. The third meeting was held on 10 December in Paris, where the decision was made to appoint new permanent Board members, and the necessity of opening the first five offices of our organisation was determined: in Brussels, London, Barcelona, Istanbul and Moscow. Our organisation got registered at the postal address as followed: 72 rue Maraîchers 75020 Paris, France.

During this initial period, several events were held in various cities of Europe and in the Muslim world. The EMF delegation visited the cities of Lisbon (Portugal), Budapest (Hungary), Berlin (Germany), Stockholm (Sweden), Warsaw, Krakow (both - Poland), Belgrade (Serbia), Istanbul (Turkey), Kiev (Ukraine), Minsk (Belarus). Other events were held in the cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Makhachkala, Grozny. The EMF delegation paid a working visit to Istanbul, where it held a number of meetings with prominent leaders and officials, including the President of Macedonia Georg Ivanov, the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and the future Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim. The EMF delegation visited Doha (Qatar), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Singapore, where it had a number of important meetings related to the activities of the EMF.

By now, the governing bodies have been formed, work regarding the establishment of European offices is underway, our Internet and media activities have been growing intensively. All this work should be completed by summer 2021. At the moment, the EMF is registered in two European jurisdictions, but of which belongs to the European Union, and the second is located outside it: in the UK (see the documents →) and Denmark (see the documents →).

We believe that the rapid growth of our activity over the past tree month by the European Muslim Forum is a positive indicator of the great potential of our organisation.
To date, several humanitarian projects have been launched
  • The "Sport against Islamophobia.” programme.
    01
  • European Muslim Club of Members of Parliament.
    02
  • Scientific and religious project "Know the Universe".
    03
  • Inter-religious festival of spiritual music.

Today, active work is being carried out to establish contacts with various organisations: both state and non-state. Intermediate results will be reported later.

Given that we will be completing the stage of legalisation and organisational formation by May 2019, we plan to hold our first meeting of the Council of the European Muslim Forum before Ramadan in the form of a conference. The venue will be determined later.

The upcoming extended meeting of the Board is planned to be held in Northern Europe by the end of January. We plan to hold the following meetings in London and Sarajevo. It is planned to schedule visits of delegations to Cologne, Berlin and Brussels In January. As well as, to hold February meetings with Northern Balkan states’ leaders and the heads of the Muslim communities living there to determine the EMF assets in each of these countries: Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria.

Hereby we encourage our consecutive members to participate in our official conversation on WhatsApp messenger, as well as via our Executive Committee to form your thoughts and ideas about the development of our organisation and its work.

I am confident that the year 2019 will be a year of the formation of our pan-European Muslim platform, which will allow the spiritual ascent of Muslims for the benefit of the whole of Greater Europe.

Europe must regain the status of the driver of world’s culture, politics and economics, which is impossible in the world of tomorrow without inter-civilization dialogue and inter-religious cooperation, in which Muslims are called upon to play a serious role. Our motto, which we intend to implement, is "Positive development of Islam in Europe and Europe with Islam".

With respect and kind prayers,
Yours European Muslim Forum
