ICJ ruling as a first step towards total boycott of Israel
Members of the judicial panel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague have overwhelmingly supported nearly all the measures requested by South Africa.
The court has issued a directive to Israel, urging it to take all necessary actions to prevent genocide in Gaza. This represents a substantial blow to the reputation of the Zionist state, effectively equating Israel’s government with the regimes of pariah states in the global community, similar to the Assad regime in Syria.
This ruling could mark the initial phase in the imposition of sanctions against Israel, potentially setting off a chain reaction. As of today, two European nations, Slovenia and Ireland, have supported South Africa’s legal action. These developments are intensifying pressure on Israel and opening doors for initiatives proposed by the European Muslim Forum. Particularly noteworthy are those initiatives related to boycotting Israel within international organizations like the International Food Program, the World Health Organization, UNESCO, and UNICEF. Of significant consequence is the potential boycott of Israel within the International Olympic Committee, which could deliver a substantial blow to Tel Aviv during the year of the Paris Olympics.
